As a leader, my primary objective is to guide with confidence while elevating those around me. Newsrooms, like any business, are filled with talented workers with a variety of skills. Knowing how my teammates best learn and operate is essential to helping them excel, no matter the assignment.

- Denver Metro Chamber Leadership Foundation Impact Denver Spring 2019 - I participated in a six-month program that teaches select Denver professionals about the community and their personal leadership styles. Teams take on a community project and compete for a grant for their chosen nonprofit. My team won the competition, securing an extra $3,000 for our chosen organization.
- Denver Metro Chamber Leadership Foundation Impact Denver Fall 2019 - After noting a lack of female coaches for my program, I volunteered to serve as a coach for the next six-month program, supporting another group's nonprofit project.
- American City Business Journal's Leadership Academy: Emerging Leaders 2020 - I was selected for an internal training program designed by company leaders to strengthen collaboration across departments and provide professional development opportunities. The in-person program became virtual in 2020.
